THREE OPPORTUNITIES TO JOIN US IN WORSHIP

  1. Sunday Service at 9:00 AM resumes our traditional worship with Communion every Sunday.  Communion is intended for baptized and confirmed Christians who are in fellowship with the articles of the faith that are professed by the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod; but ALL are welcome to attend the service and anyone may come forward and ask for a blessing from the pastor.  The service is about 65 minutes.  Everything needed to follow along is printed in the bulletin except some hymns which are in the Lutheran Service Book in the pew.  Masking is left to the conscience of each person.  Afterward, adult and children’s Sunday School classes take place between 10:20 and 11:00.  Adult Bible Study videos for 2023 can be found here for Sundays /archives/sunday-bible-study-videos-2022 and here for Wednesdays  /archives/wednesday-bible-studies .
  2. Saturday Service at 9:30 AM is in-person worship designed for those at health higher risks.   It is the same service as Sundays, except social distancing and masks are normative.  The sanctuary is disinfected before each service.  There are no ushers or offerings.  Communion is by handless distribution.  It is much more sparsely attended and is significantly safer than going to a supermarket.  Consider this wonderful option as Sunday worship returns to full capacity.
  3. Worship is live-streamed on Hope’s Facebook page.  While electronic worship can never fully replace in-person worship for a Christian, we aim to make this the best substitute possible.  It is a great choice for those who cannot risk any personal contact, those who may be out-of-town, friends of Hope in other areas, and those who want to check out our services.
