You see correct, BIG NEWS!  The Women of Hope will be hosting our South Wisconsin District #21 LWML Fall Rally.  It will be held on Saturday October 10th, 2026 at 9:30 AM.  All women of the Lutheran Missouri Synod Church (LCMS) are invited to attend this event.  Our day will include:

• The program will begin with our 9:30 AM Saturday church service
• A short program featuring the Informed Choices organization and putting Pro-Life into action at Informed Choices
• A light luncheon in the lower level provided by the Women of Hope.
• Collecting baby layette items (a baby layette is a starter collection of newborn clothes and essential items) to help Informed Choices provide the layettes for the new babies.  (Any questions for the baby layette, please contact Tabra Gomski)

Please look for the flyers and sign-up sheet on the table in the Fellowship area.

The Mite Box..... small yet powerful.  The Mite Box is based on the Bible story of the widow's mite (Luke 21: 1-4) and has been done since 1871.  Each year, the collection of money from Mite Boxes bring in over $1,000,000.  25% of the Mite Box offerings is sent to LWML (Lutheran Women's Missionary League) and 75% is used for our local district's mission grants.  LWML Missions reach local, national, and international mission projects.

Bring a Mite Box home and/or work, they are available on the Women of Hope table in the Fellowship area.  Set it out, fill it with spare change.  Return it to Hope Lutheran Church the first Saturday/Sunday of the month.  We have a large collection bin.  Take it home and start again!  Feel free to give a Mite Box to a friend or family member.  Any questions, please ask Beth Schneider.  If you wish, ask Beth for a calendar with some of the causes so you can pray for one each day.

Prayer:  "Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving me all that I have.  Bless these mites that I give back to You so that they can be used to spread the Good News of Jesus' love her and throughout the world.  Amen."

LWML is the place where each woman is welcomed and encouraged to use her unique God-given gifts as she supports global missions and services the lord with gladness.  Please talk to or ask Beth Schneider for more information about what LWML can do for you!

On behalf of Women of Hope, we thank everyone for supporting our “Trees on Parade” event in December 2024. Whether you baked, packed cookies and treats, helped with our tree decorating, Sunday School children that made ornaments, sellers at the event, and cleanup post event. We are so blessed, by everyone’s heart and hands to see this event through. We appreciated our 11 newer members joining us as they saw how our gift to Twin Lakes is displayed through our Hope Christmas tree and bake sale. The Christmas tree and decorations went to Iryna & Vasyl’s family. All proceeds, $1,202, will be given to Mountainside Lutheran Church in NC for post-hurricane cleanup. Thank you!
